A RELEVÂNCIA DO APOIO DIDÁTICO NA GRADUAÇÃO DE METEOROLOGIA: ATIVIDADE DO PROGRAMA DE EDUCAÇÃO TUTORIAL
O apoio didático em forma de monitoria
na graduação incrementa o desenvolvimento
técnico-científico dos acadêmicos. A monitoria
torna-se imprescindível pois tem a capacidade
de elucidar as dificuldades encontradas
pelos estudantes, sanando suas dúvidas,
maximizando o aprendizado adquirido na sala
de aula e possibilita a diminuição da evasão
discente. Durante o período de estudo (2017-
2018) realizou-se uma pesquisa de opinião
sobre esta atividade com alunos da Graduação
em Meteorologia da UFPEL que participaram
das monitorias ofertadas pelo Grupo PET
(Programa de Educação Tutorial). A avaliação
apontou que o apoio didático ofertado pelo PETMeteorologia
atende as necessidades discentes
conseguindo atingir uma grande parte dos
alunos dos primeiros semestres da graduação
em Meteorologia.

Abstract:
In the undergraduate level, the
didactic support as extraclass monitoring
increases the technical-scientific development
of students. Such monitoring becomes essential
because it has the capacity of elucidate the
difficulties encountered by the students, healing
their doubts, maximizing the learning acquired
in the classroom and make it possible to reduce
the student dropout. During 2017-2018 an
opinion research about this activity was carried
out with students of UFPEL Meteorology School
who participate of the monitoring offered by
PET (Tutorial Education Program) Group. The
evaluation pointed out that the didactic support
offered by PET-Meteorologia attends the
academic needs, reaching a large part of first
semesters students of the Meteorology School.
