• Abstract: Abstract: This work analyzes the implications of the Selvíria Free Market on the lives of settled farmers who sell in this space, seeking elements that allow understanding the fair's potential for the socio-productive inclusion of local/regional family farmers. Thus, the subjects of this research include farmers participating in the Selvíria Free Market, coming from the municipality's agrarian reform projects. From a predominantly qualitative approach, the main instrument used in data collection referred to a semi-open questionnaire, applied in the form of an interview. It was possible to (re)discover the diversity of products offered by the settled farmers participating in the fair, proving the importance of this space for the public in question. Positive interviews were carried out on topics related to the organization of the fair and the income generation opportunities provided by this negotiation channel. Given the potential of the fair and the importance of the participation of the settled public, it is expected that the local public authorities will continue to make efforts in order to guarantee conditions so that settled families can resist in this space and continue enriching the Selvíria Free Market with the its products, visions and knowledge.
