A REDE ECOVIDA DE AGROECOLOGIA: AGRICULTURA FAMILIAR E PRÁTICAS ECOLÓGICAS
A ideia central deste capítulo é elencar alguns aspectos sobre a Agroecologia, considerado um dos sistemas agrícolas mais sustentáveis do mundo e que está direcionado para a manutenção de sistemas de produção que possam contribuir para o desenvolvimento sustentável ao integrar práticas ambientais, econômicas e socialmente sustentáveis, e ainda, contribuir para a segurança e soberania alimentar. Busca-se neste estudo analisar a questão da soberania alimentar brasileira, apresentando possíveis alternativas para uma sociedade mais soberana, com destaque para a Rede Ecovida de Agroecologia que é integrada por agricultores familiares dos três Estados da Região Sul do Brasil e do Estado de São Paulo.

Abstract:
The central Idea of this chapter is to list some aspects of Agroecology, considered one of the most sustainable agricultural systems in the world and which is aimed at maintaining production systems that can contribute to sustainable development by integrating environmentally, economically and socially sustainable practices, and also contribute to food security and sovereignty. The aim of this study is to analyze the issue of Brazilian food sovereignty, presenting possible alternatives for a more sovereign society, with emphasis on the Ecovida Agroecology Network, which is made up of family farmers from the three states of the southern region of Brazil and the state of São Paulo.
