A QUÍMICA E O USO CONSCIENTE DA ÁGUA: PERCEPÇÕES DE ESTUDANTES DO ENSINO MÉDIO DE ESCOLA DA REDE PÚBLICA DO MUNICÍPIO DE OLIVEIRA - MG
A questão da disponibilidade e do uso consciente da água, como bem social e coletivo, é uma das principais questões do século XXI. As aulas de química são excelentes oportunidades para abordar temas centrais a sociedade e subsidiar a conscientização dos estudantes, em especial quando paralelamente trabalha-se com os conteúdos de Química. Esse trabalho teve como objetivo abordar a Educação Ambiental durante as aulas de química ministradas no ensino médio em uma Escola Estadual do Município de Oliveira – MG. A proposta foi trabalhar com o tema água. Neste sentido foi realizada intervenção abordando assuntos inerentes a essa questão, como propriedades físico químicas da água, distribuição e disponibilidade na superfície do planeta, tratamento de água, poluição, consumo e uso racional. Após intervenção foi aplicado um questionário para os alunos participantes com o objetivo coletar informações sobre a compreensão dos mesmos frente às provocações e suas percepções em relação a temática.

Abstract:
The issue of availability and conscientious use of water, as a social and collective good, is one of the main issues of the 21st century. Chemistry classes are excellent opportunities to address issues that are central to society and support students' awareness, especially when working with Chemistry contents in parallel. This work aimed to address Environmental Education during chemistry classes taught in high school at a State School in the Municipality of Oliveira – MG. The proposal was to work with the water theme. In this sense, an intervention was carried out addressing issues inherent to this issue, such as physical and chemical properties of water, distribution and availability on the planet's surface, water treatment, pollution, consumption and rational use. After the intervention, a questionnaire was applied to the participating students in order to collect information about their understanding of the provocations and their perceptions regarding the theme.
