A PROTEÇÃO DO PATRIMÔNIO GEOLÓGICO-GEOMORFOLÓGICO NO PROCESSO LEGISLATIVO DO ESTADO DE SÃO PAULO: DÉCADAS DE 1950 A 2000
Este trabalho aborda a trajetória
das iniciativas e debates parlamentares
concernentes à proteção ao patrimônio natural
de caráter geológico-geomorfológico na
Assembleia Legislativa do Estado de São Paulo,
desde a década de 1950 até os anos 2000,
evidenciando, por um lado, a via legislativa
como possibilidade de incremento das políticas
de geoconservação e, por outro, os embates
que condicionam a questão, seja no que tange à
relação entre o Executivo e o Legislativo quanto
entre o Parlamento, a sociedade e os órgãos
técnico-burocráticos de patrimônio.

Abstract:
This paper deals with the
trajectory of the parliament initiatives and
debates concerning the protection of the natural
heritage of a geological and geomorphologic
character in the Parliamente of the State of São
Paulo, from the 1950’s to the 2000’s, evidencing
by one hand this alternative as a possibility of
enhancement of the geoconservation policies
and, on the other hand, the discussions that
have conditioning the issue, in terms of the
relationship between Executive and Legislative
powers and between the Parliament, society
and heritage technical-bureaucratic institution..
