A PROMOÇÃO DO DIREITO SOCIAL À EDUCAÇÃO DECOLONIAL PELA ESCOLA DE SAMBA BEIJA FLOR DE NILÓPOLIS NO DESFILE DE 2018: CRÍTICA LITERÁRIA E SOCIAL
O presente artigo tem por objetivo
demonstrar a efetivação do direito social
à educação decolonial, por meio da crítica
literária e social, no desfile de 2018 da Escola
de Samba Beija Flor de Nilópolis. Tratase
de uma pesquisa desenvolvida na área
dos Direitos Sociais, à luz do pensamento
decolonial. O método utilizado é o indutivo.
No primeiro capítulo, por meio de pesquisa
bibliográfica, é feita uma caracterização da
colonialidade no Brasil. No segundo capítulo,
realiza-se um breve apanhado histórico das
escolas de samba brasileiras, ressaltandose
sua subalternização pelo conhecimento
moderno e sua potencialidade decolonial. No
terceiro capítulo, analisa-se sob a ótica do
direito à educação, o desfile apresentado no
carnaval do Rio de Janeiro no ano de 2018
pela Escola de Samba Beija Flor de Nilópolis,
quando aproximou o romance de Frankenstein
ou Prometeu moderno com as mazelas sociais
brasileiras. Ao final, conclui-se que a Escola
de Samba Beija-Flor de Nilópolis, no ano de
2018, cumpriu o seu papel social de promover
o direito social à educação, mediante um viés
decolonial, através da reflexão e crítica acerca
da realidade brasileira a partir da obra literária
da autora inglesa Mary Shelley.

Abstract:
The present article aims to
demonstrate the effectiveness of the social right to
decolonial education, through literary and social
criticism, in the 2018 parade of the Beija Flor
School of Nilópolis. It is a research developed in
the area of Social Rights in the light of decolonial
thinking. The method used is inductive. In the
first chapter, through a bibliographical research,
a characterization of the coloniality in Brazil is
made. In the second chapter, a brief historical
survey of the Brazilian samba schools is made,
emphasizing its subalternization by modern
knowledge and its decolonial potentiality. In
the third chapter, the parade presented at the
carnival of Rio de Janeiro in the year 2018 by
the Beija Flor de Nilópolis School, is analyzed
from the point of view of the right to education,
when it approached the novel of Frankenstein or
modern Prometheus with social ills Brazilians.
At the end, it is concluded that the Beija-Flor
Samba School in Nilópolis, in the year 2018,
fulfilled its social role of promoting the social
right to education, through a decolonial bias,
through reflection and criticism about the Brazilian reality from the literary work of the
English author Mary Shelley.
