A PRODUÇÃO DO DISCURSO CIENTÍFICO SOBRE A DOENÇA NO RIO GRANDE DO SUL NO INÍCIO DO SÉCULO XX
A Revista Archivos Rio-Grandenses de Medicina constitui um espaço para a produção de discursos científicos sobre a doença no Rio Grande do Sul no início do século XX. Este artigo objetivou analisar os editoriais dos seis primeiros números, compreendendo como esse espaço foi entendido como veículo de construção do conhecimento produzido pelas Ciências Médicas. Para tanto, analisa os editoriais a partir dos critérios de Báccaro e Barros (2010). Conclui-se que, o discurso biomédico no Rio Grande do Sul, delineia seu espaço enquanto categoria enunciativa, sendo mencionado por quem tem autoridade para falar sobre o tema, gerando produção de significados compreendidos por quem faz parte desse contexto. Seu caráter informativo e educativo são os elementos para a construção de sua cientificidade.

Abstract:
The Revista Archivos Rio-Grandenses de Medicina is a space for the production of scientific speeches about the disease in Rio Grande do Sul at the beginning of the 20th century. This article aimed to analyze the editorials of the first six issues, understanding how this space was building as a vehicle the knowledge produced by Medical Sciences. To this end, it analyzes editorials based on the criteria of Báccaro and Barros (2010). It is concluded that the biomedical discourse in Rio Grande do Sul, delineates its space as an enunciative category, being mentioned by those who have the authority to speak on the topic, generating a production of meanings understood by those who are part of this context. Its informative and educational character are the elements for the construction of its scientificity.
