A presença viva de Paulo Freire: do ombro amigo à luta esperançosa
O presente texto trata da relevância da presença de Paulo Freire na constituição de uma docência crítica, esperançosa e mobilizadora. A compreensão da realidade implica uma leitura que se faz consciente na medida em que o sujeito da ação se assume como em constante vir a ser. A esperança, sustentada nessa perspectiva, impele a uma permanente (re)leitura do contexto, na qual o próprio contexto, uma vez abstraído seu conteúdo e assumido em seu movimento, impõe a educadores e educandos a necessidade e desejo de aventura da liberdade. A consciência de inacabamento equivale à consciência da não imutabilidade da realidade. A educação perpassa e sustenta a ação que se quer dialógica, na coerência ética sem a qual se nega sua razão de ser: a formação humana. Assumindo Paulo Freire como parceiro virtual, cuja presença amiga acolhe e impulsiona, aborda-se, neste breve texto, a leitura de uma realidade atual, perversa por representar a negação do outro, e inquietante por exigir desacomodação. Na busca de compreendê-la toma-se a obra deste educador, o qual se tem como referência de conhecimento, paixão e humanidade. Busca-se, com esta escrita, deixar-se o convite para que a educação seja pensada nas vertentes da esperança, da curiosidade epistemológica e da resistência. A escolha do título “A PRESENÇA VIVA DE PAULO FREIRE: do ombro amigo à luta esperançosa” originou-se do desejo de encontrar algo que representasse a importância do autor à educação ao mesmo tempo em que deixasse evidentes ou anunciasse os motivos pelos quais tem sido objeto de rejeição por seguidores de tendências conservadoras.

Abstract:
The present text deals with the relevance of the presence of Paulo Freire in the constitution of a critical, hopeful, and stimulating teaching. The comprehension of reality implies ina conscious reading, as far as the subject of the action assumes a constant becoming. Hope, sustained in this perspective, leads to a permanent (re)reading of the context, in which the context itself, once its content has been abstracted and assumed in its movement, imposes on educators and learners the need and desire for the adventure of freedom. The awareness of unfinished work is equivalent to the awareness of the non-immutability of reality. Education permeates and sustains the action that is intended to be dialogical, in ethical coherence without which its reason for being is denied: human formation. Assuming Paulo Freire as a virtual partner, whose friendly presence welcomes and encourages us, this brief text deals with the reading of a current reality, perverse because it represents the denial of the other, and unsettling because it requires discomfort. In the quest to understand it, the work of this educator is taken, which is based on knowledge, passion, and humanity. With this writing, we seek to leave the invitation for education to be thought of in terms of hope, epistemological curiosity, and resistance. The choice of the title “THE LIVING PRESENCE OF PAULO FREIRE: from a shoulder to cry on to the hopeful fight” originated from the desire to find something that represented the importance of the author to education while making it evident or announcing the reasons why it has been an object of rejection by followers of conservative tendencies.
