A PRESENÇA DOS JESUÍTAS EM PRESIDENTE KENNEDY/ES: ABORDAGEM NOS LIVROS DIDÁTICOS DOS ANOS INICIAIS E FINAIS DO ENSINO FUNDAMENTAL
O tema que se apresenta trata da presença dos jesuítas em Presidente Kennedy/ES e sua abordagem nos livros didáticos de Ensino Fundamental I e II. A escolha pela abordagem se justifica pela necessidade de apresentar o legado jesuítico além da escolarização, principalmente a economia e a cultura do município de Presidente Kennedy. Como objetivo geral buscamos mostrar como o ensino de História das escolas de Ensino Fundamental (do 4º ao 7º ano) de Presidente Kennedy retrata o legado deixado pelos jesuítas ao município. O estudo envolveu a pesquisa bibliográfica, que apresentou autores que enfocaram, em suas obras, aspectos relevantes sobre os jesuítas no Espírito Santo e sobre o ensino de História no Ensino Fundamental I e II (do 4º ao 7º ano). A pesquisa em campo envolveu a análise dos livros didáticos, adotados pelas escolas municipais por meio do Programa Nacional do Livro Didático (do 4º ao 7º ano) e do programa de ensino, de forma a conferir o que os alunos estão aprendendo e o que os professores ensinam sobre a História Local e sobre o legado dos jesuítas em Presidente Kennedy. Concluiu-se que o programa de ensino deve ser reformulado e o professor de História precisa complementar suas aulas, enfocando o tema jesuítico por meio de outros recursos. Os livros didáticos não atendem à História local sobre o ensino do legado jesuítico em Presidente Kennedy e os professores não produzem material que faça esse resgate e aproxime os estudantes do município à sua história patrimonial, valorizando sua vivência e sua experiência, conforme preconiza a Base Nacional Comum Curricular e outros documentos curriculares educacionais.

Abstract:
The theme presented in this study is: The presence of Jesuits in Presidente Kennedy / ES and their approach in Elementary School Textbooks I and II. The choice of approach is justified by the need to present the Jesuit legacy in addition to schooling, mainly the economy and culture of the municipality of Presidente Kennedy. As a general objective we seek to show how the history teaching of elementary schools (4th to 7th grade) of Presidente Kennedy portrays the legacy left by the Jesuits to the municipality. The study involved bibliographic research, which presented authors who focused, in their works, relevant aspects on the Jesuits in Espírito Santo and on the teaching of History in Elementary School I and II (4th to 7th grade), as Almeida (2000), Aranha (2006), Freyre (2013), Ferreira and Bittar (2007), Medeiros (2012), Pacheco (2017) and others. The field research involved the analysis of textbooks, adopted by municipal schools through the National Textbook Program (4th to 7th grade) and the teaching program, in order to check what students are learning and what teachers teach about local history and about the legacy of the Jesuits in Presidente Kennedy. It was concluded that the teaching program must be reformulated and the history teacher needs to complement his classes, focusing on the Jesuit theme through other resources. Textbooks do not address the local history of teaching the Jesuit legacy in Presidente Kennedy and teachers do not produce material that makes this rescue and brings students from the municipality closer to their heritage history, valuing their experience and experience, as recommended by BNCC and other educational curriculum documents.
