A POTÊNCIA TRÁGICA-DIONISÍACA NO TEATRO DA CRUELDADE DE ANTONIN ARTAUD
O presente texto objetiva expor
uma investigação do Teatro da Crueldade de
Antonin Artaud em diálogo com o pensamento
nietzschiano acerca do Trágico, este que, por
sua vez, se reafirma com e na presença do deus
Dioniso. A Crueldade é, nas palavras de Artaud,
um turbilhão de vida que devora as trevas
e, seguindo esse raciocínio cruel, é que se
desponta, no Teatro da Crueldade, os aspectos
trágicos e dionisíacos da filosofia de Nietzsche.
Ou melhor, é seguindo esse pensamento que
podemos pensar a Crueldade como a potência
trágica e dionisíaca do teatro, pois, tanto o
Trágico, reafirmado em Dioniso, quanto o Teatro
da Crueldade, reafirmam o duplo sim dionisíaco
da vida.

Abstract:
The present text aims to expose an
investigation of the Theater of Cruelty of Antonin
Artaud in dialogue with the Nietzschean thought
about the Tragic, which, in turn, is reiterated
with the presence of the god Dionysus. Cruelty
is, in Artaud’s words, a whirlwind of life that
devours darkness and, following this cruel
reasoning, is that the tragic and Dionysian
aspects of Nietzsche’s philosophy arise in the
Theater of Cruelty. Or rather, it is following
this thought that we can think of Cruelty as
the tragic and Dionysiac power of the theater,
for both the Tragedy, reaffirmed in Dionysus,
and the Theater of Cruelty, reaffirm the double
Dionysian yes of life.
