A PESSOA COM DEFICIÊNCIA E O TRABALHO: ESTUDO DE CASO COM JOVENS DEFICIENTES INTELECTUAIS E A PESPECTIVA DE INSERÇÃO NO MERCADO DE TRABALHO
Este estudo está centrado na
temática Deficiência Intelectual e Trabalho e
tem como objetivo conhecer as percepções
das pessoas com deficiência intelectual, e
a sua inserção no mercado de trabalho de
Ribeirão Preto, relacionadas ao processo de
inserção, de execução de atividades laborais
e referentes à receptividade das empresas
contratantes. Os sujeitos desta pesquisa
foram oito jovens com deficiência intelectual e
múltipla (intelectual e visual), no município de
Ribeirão Preto/SP. A inclusão destes jovens
profissionais no mercado de trabalho formal,
por via de regra, ainda está em andamento;
todavia as pessoas com deficiência, mediante
adequações e qualificação, vêm aos poucos
ocupando um espaço importante nas empresas
e na sociedade. A metodologia da pesquisa é
de abordagem qualitativa, configurando um
estudo de caso. Os arranjos e articulações
teórico-metodológicas se fundamentam em
autores da teoria marxista como: Clot, Mendes,
Dejorus, Vygotsky. Os resultados do estudo
mostram a influência do trabalho na construção
da identidade pessoal, profissional e social dos
jovens entrevistados. Concluiu-se que territórios
como trabalho, emprego e pertencimento aos
grupos sociais são universos considerados
legítimos na formação de categorias sociais por
serem responsáveis pelo modo como esses
jovens com deficiência se identificam e são
identificados pela sociedade

Abstract:
This study focuses on the following
themes: Intellectual Disability, Education and
Work, and attempts to assess the contributions
of the Education for Work Program – Trampolim,
whose goal is inserting people in the job market,
according to the perspective of its alumni.
There were eight participants in the study with
intellectual and multiple disabilities (intellectual
and visual), alumni of the program, who graduated
in 2011 and 2012 in the city of Ribeirão Preto/
SP. Regular inclusion in the formal job market is
still an ongoing process. However, people with
disabilities, with the necessary adaptation and
qualifications, have been gradually occupying
an important space in companies and society
in general. The study method was a qualitative interview, configuring a case study. The theoretical-methodological arrangements and
articulations are based on the following authors: Clot, Mende, Dejorus e Vygotsky. The
results attest to the influence of the program in building the personal, professional and
social identity of the young alumni interviewed. In conclusion, territories such as work,
employment, education and belonging to social groups are legitimate universes within
the formation of social categories, since these are responsible for how young people
with disabilities identify themselves and how they are identified in turn by society
