Abstract: This paper addresses the optimization of police patrol routes in Manaus, combining Predictive Location Models (PLM) and the Traveling Salesman Problem (TSP). PLMs use historical data and machine learning techniques to identify criminal hotspots, areas with a high probability of crime, where police presence should be intensified. Predicting these hotspots enables efficient allocation of patrol resources. TSP is used to determine the most efficient route that covers all the hotspots identified by PLM, adapting the algorithm to the particularities of police operations, such as the need to revisit certain points regularly and time constraints. The methodology was tested through case studies and computer simulations, comparing the results with traditional patrolling methods. It is concluded that the combination of PLM and TSP results in a robust tool for optimizing police routes, improving resource allocation and response to criminal incidents, contributing significantly to the operational efficiency of security forces, strengthening community safety and police effectiveness.
