A PESQUISA ESTATÍSTICA NA APRENDIZAGEM DE CONCEITOS ESTATÍSTICOS PARA O ENSINO FUNDAMENTAL: UM ESTUDO NA PERSPECTIVA VYGOTSKYANA
Resumo: O presente trabalho trata-se de um relato de experiência cujo a atividade foi realizada em uma escola pública de uma cidade do Noroeste do Estado do Paraná, com estudantes de nono ano das séries finais do Ensino Fundamental II. Fundamenta-se na teoria de aprendizagem de Vygotsky, em que o professor atua na mediação do processo de ensino e aprendizagem. O conteúdo abordado foi frequência estatística, tendo como instrumento didático a pesquisa estatística, elaborada e aplicada pelos alunos na comunidade escolar. O objetivo foi investigar como o uso da pesquisa estatística desta prática pode auxiliar o estudante na compreensão de conceitos científicos de estatística, analisando os benefícios da associação teoria/prática para a aprendizagem e, também, estimular o desenvolvimento da capacidade de reflexão e construção de novos conhecimentos embasado nos pressupostos da Teoria Sócio Histórica de Vygotsky. Apresenta metodologia qualitativa, interpretativa, mediante uma descrição detalhada dos dados, com foco no processo de análise dos resultados obtidos na pesquisa realizada pelos estudantes. Os resultados veiculam a relevância do processo de mediação quando se utiliza essa estratégia didática, possibilitando assim, a compreensão de conceitos estatísticos de forma dinâmica e prazerosa.

Abstract:
ABSTRACT:The present work is an experience report whose activity was carried out in a public school in a city in the Northwest of the State of Paraná, with ninth-grade students in the final grades of Elementary School II. It is based on Vygotsky's theory of learning, where the teacher acts in mediating the teaching and learning process. The content covered was statistical frequency, using statistical research as a teaching tool, developed and applied by students in the school community. The objective was to investigate how the use of statistical research in this practice can assist the student in understanding scientific concepts of statistics, analyzing the benefits of the theory / practice association for learning and also stimulating the development of the capacity for reflection and construction of new ones. Knowledge based on the assumptions of Vygotsky's Socio-Historical Theory. It presents qualitative, interpretative methodology, through a detailed description of the data, focusing on the process of analyzing the results obtained in the research carried out by the students. The results convey the relevance of the mediation process when using this didactic strategy, thus enabling the understanding of statistical concepts in a dynamic and pleasurable way.
