A PESQUISA EM TURISMO NA PERSPECTIVA DO MÉTODO HERMENÊUTICO
Esta pesquisa tem por objetivo apresentar a hermenêutica como proposta
metodológica capaz de contribuir na pesquisa em turismo. Enquanto ramo da Filosofia a
hermenêutica cuida da arte de interpretar textos, sejam eles visuais, acústicos, escritos,
falados, sonoros e afins. A metodologia utilizada foi a análise e a interpretação de textos
e, mais pontualmente, do pensamento de Gadamer em Hermenêutica em retrospectiva e
em Verdade e Método. As principais conclusões apontam que a experiência da verdade
é hermenêutica na medida em ocorre numa constante relação, na qual a parte modifica o
todo e o todo modifica a parte. E, nesse ponto, a pesquisa em turismo no âmbito da
construção de sua epistemologia, de vertente hermenêutica passa por essa tensão, isto é:
a capilarização da vivência e da experiência turística em diálogo com a abertura e
acolhida para o novo e para o inesperado.

Abstract:
The main objective of this work is to present hermeneutics as a methodological proposal capable of contributing to tourism research. Hermeneutics is a branch of Philosophy that takes care of the art of interpreting texts, whether visual, acoustic, written, spoken, sonorous and the like. The methodology used was the analysis and interpretation of texts and, more punctually, of Gadamer's thought in Hermeneutics in retrospect and in Truth and Method. The main conclusions point out that the experience of truth is hermeneutic insofar as it occurs in a constant relationship, in which the part modifies the whole and the whole modifies the part. And, at this point, tourism research in the context of the construction of its epistemology, of a hermeneutic aspect, goes through this tension, that is: the capillarization of the tourist experience and experience in dialogue with the opening and acceptance for the new and the unexpected .
