Com o advento da modernidade

atingindo as áreas rurais os pequenos

agricultores, pertencentes à agricultura familiar,

sofrem impactos consideráveis em que pese

aos seus meios de produção e de vida. Diante

disso, o presente trabalho pretende analisar a

resistência dos camponeses da comunidade

Ribeirão, localizada no município da cidade de

Catalão, Estado de Goiás, frente às inúmeras

afrontas que padecem como: a evasão de

nativos para a cidade em busca de emprego

(fragilizando a tradição da comunidade);

problemas com a escassez de água (que

atinge a cidade e, por tabela, a comunidade

e seu plantio); etc. Assim sendo, por meio de

uma pesquisa bibliográfica firmada em autores

expressivos na área como Maniglia (2009),

Kautsky (1986), Chayanov (1974) etc, e no

trabalho desenvolvido por Guimarães (2010),

foi possível discorrer e construir um norte para

o presente estudo.

Abstract:
With the advent of modernity

reaching the rural areas small farmers, belonging

to family farming, suffer considerable impacts

in spite of their means of production and life.

Therefore, the present work intends to analyze

the resistance of the peasants of the community

Ribeirão, located in the city of Catalão, State

of Goiás, in front of the numerous affronts that

suffer as: the evasion of natives to the city in

search of employment (weakening the tradition

of the community); problems with the scarcity of

water (which affects the city and, by scale, the community and its planting); etc. Thus,

through a bibliographical research established in significant writers in the area such

as Maniglia (2009), Kautsky (1986), Chayanov (1974), and in the work developed by

Guimarães (2010), it was possible to discuss and construct a the present study.
