A PERCEPÇÃO DO PORTADOR DE ESTOMIA INTESTINAL ACERCA DA SEXUALIDADE
Este artigo versa sobre a percepção da sexualidade do indivíduo portador de estoma. Objetivo: Descrever alterações biopsicossociais no que tange a percepção do estomizado sobre a sexualidade. Métodos: Estudo descritivo, de abordagem qualitativa, com nove indivíduos, em uma unidade de internação de um Hospital de Grande Porte na Capital Baiana, que concederam entrevistas, com análise de conteúdo de Bardin. Resultados: Os temas definidos: Percepção de sexualidade; Alterações na atividade da sexualidade de indivíduos estomizados; Importância do suporte interdisciplinar. Estas modificações estão ligadas intimamente com imagem corporal, à autoestima e às relações interpessoais com parceiro, perpassando pela rejeição medo, dificuldade com novos relacionamentos, vergonha corporal, constrangimento pelo equipamento coletor, dificuldade em falar sobre a condição e subsídios criados para nova condição. Conclusão: Conclui-se que existe a necessidade de buscar e identificar estratégias que possibilite a pessoa adaptação a nova condição de vida, bem como a retomada da sua sexualidade. Além disso nota-se que a enfermagem necessita de uma assistência não visando somente o cuidado com o estoma, mas também um olhar ampliado nas subjetividades no que concerne a sexualidade dessas pessoas.

Abstract:
This article deals with the perception of the sexuality of the individual with stoma. Objective: to describe biopsychosocial changes in the perception of the stomates about sexuality. Methods: A qualitative descriptive study with nine individuals, in a hospital unit of a Large Porte Hospital in the State of Bahia, who gave interviews, with Bardin content analysis. Results: The themes defined: Perception of sexuality; Changes in the sexual activity of stomized individuals; Importance of interdisciplinary support. These modifications are intimately linked with body image, self-esteem and interpersonal relationships with partner, passing through rejection fear, difficulty with new relationships, body embarrassment, embarrassment by the collecting equipment, difficulty in talking about the condition and subsidies created for new condition. Conclusion: It is concluded that there is a need to seek and identify strategies that enable the person to adapt to the new life condition, as well as the resumption of their sexuality. Moreover, it is noted that nursing needs assistance not only aiming at caring for the stoma, but also an expanded look at the subjectivities regarding the sexuality of these people.
