A PERCEPÇÃO DA ATUAÇÃO DO FISIOTERAPEUTA NOS CUIDADOS PALIATIVOS NAS UNIDADES DE TERAPIA INTENSIVA ONCOLÓGICA: UMA REVISÃO SISTEMÁTICA
OBJETIVO: Evidenciar a importância da inserção do fisioterapeuta em cuidados paliativos nos pacientes oncológicos hospitalizados em UTI. METODOLOGIA: O presente estudo consistiu em uma revisão sistemática nas bases de dados da BVS, PubMed e SciELO, que visa esclarecer a percepção da atuação do fisioterapeuta nos cuidados paliativos em unidade de terapia intensiva oncológica. RESULTADOS: Obteve-se um total de 3 bases de pesquisa, onde se foram utilizados 05 documentos para explanação de possíveis condutas paliativas de conforto fisioterapêuticos para o processo de terminalidade da vida em pacientes com diagnóstico oncológico em cuidados paliativos na unidade de terapia intensiva. CONCLUSÃO: Apesar dos benefícios que a fisioterapia proporciona, ainda é escassa a quantidade de estudos na área, mesmo sendo de extrema necessidade no campo de pesquisa. Sendo assim, sugere-se que mais estudos científicos sejam realizados, a fim de contribuir com a formação de mais conhecimento na área.

Abstract:
OBJECTIVE: Show the importance of inserting the physiotherapist in palliative care for cancer patients hospitalized in the ICU. METHODOLOGY: The present study consisted of a systematic review of the databases of the BVS, PubMed and SciELO, which aims to clarify the perception of the role of physical therapists in palliative care in an oncology intensive care unit. RESULTS: A total of 3 research bases were obtained, where 05 documents were used to explain possible palliative behaviors of physiotherapeutic comfort for the process of terminality of life in patients with cancer diagnosis in palliative care in the intensive care unit.CONCLUSION: Despite the benefits that physical therapy provides, the number of studies in the area is still scarce, even though it is extremely necessary in the field of research. Therefore, it is suggested that more scientific studies be carried out in order to contribute to the formation of more knowledge in the area
