A PATHOSFORMEL NAS FOTOGRAFIAS DE MÃES IMIGRANTES POLONESAS
O presente artigo é composto por uma proposta de análise de fotografias de mulheres imigrantes polonesas – em especial as que ocupam posições maternais – levando em consideração o conceito de Pathosformel definido por Aby Warburg no século XIX, comparando elementos visuais em comum nas fotografias reunidas no decorrer da pesquisa realizada (sendo elas de imigrantes poloneses estabelecidos na região norte do Rio Grande do Sul, com maior concentração nas cidades de Erechim e Áurea) com pinturas do Renascimento europeu, onde se buscou referências em imagens contendo personagens do catolicismo como Maria e o bebê Jesus Cristo, religião esta que prevalece entre o grupo de imigrantes estudado, para identificar fórmulas de Pathos presentes entre as figuras maternais registradas nas fotografias.

Abstract:
This article is composed of a proposal for the analysis of photographs of Polish immigrant women – especially those who occupy maternal positions – taking into account the concept of Pathosformel defined by Aby Warburg in the 19th century, comparing visual elements in common in the photographs gathered during the course of the research carried out (being them of Polish immigrants established in the northern region of Rio Grande do Sul, with greater concentration in the cities of Erechim and Áurea) with paintings of the European Renaissance, where references were sought in images containing characters of Catholicism such as Maria and the baby Jesus Christ, the religion that prevails among the group of immigrants studied, to identify Pathos formulas present among the maternal figures registered in the photographs.
