A Paisagem Resultante do Processo de Ocupação da Região Missioneira
Este artigo tem como tema a paisagem da região das Missões no Rio Grande do Sul. Na maioria dos casos, a paisagem da região missioneira é caracterizada principalmente pelo patrimônio do período reducional, como por exemplo o sítio das ruínas de São Miguel das Missões, patrimônio cultural da humanidade. Através desse estudo objetiva-se resgatar a história e trajetória da região missioneira através da arquitetura e urbanismo da época das reduções jesuítica-guarani até final do século XX. Trata-se de um estudo que envolve dados bibliográficos históricos e análise das transformações da paisagem. O objetivo deste artigo é mostrar a contribuição dos povos nas diferentes fases do processo de ocupação da região missioneira, que ao longo dos últimos séculos marcaram profundamente a paisagem da região, deixando suas marcas aplicando uma nova realidade a cada período. Conclui-se com esta pesquisa que uma forte característica da paisagem missioneira é a interação entre o passado e o presente, com várias origens convivendo em uma região. Muitas das cidades da região possuem uma memória arquitetônica pouco conhecida, um acervo que representa a continuidade da história das Missões no Rio Grande do Sul.

Abstract:
This article has as its theme the landscape of the Missions region in Rio Grande do Sul. In most cases, the landscape of the Missioneira region is characterized mainly by the heritage of the reductive period, such as the site of the ruins of São Miguel das Missões, heritage of humanity. Through this study the objective is to rescue the history and trajectory of the Missioneira region through architecture and urbanism from the time of the Jesuit-Guarani reductions until the end of the 20th century. This is a study that involves historical bibliographic data and analysis of landscape changes. The purpose of this article is to show the contribution of peoples in the different phases of the process of occupation of the Missioneira region, which over the past centuries have profoundly marked the landscape of the region, leaving their marks applying a new reality to each period. It is concluded with this research that a strong characteristic of the Missioneira landscape is the interaction between the past and the present, with several origins coexisting in a region. Many of the cities in the region have a little-known architectural memory, a collection that represents the continuity of the history of the Missions in Rio Grande do Sul.
