A MUSICOTERAPIA COMO INTERVENÇÃO NA REABILITAÇÃO NEUROPSICOLÓGICA DE PACIENTES COM A DOENÇA DE ALZHEIMER
A Doença de Alzheimer (DA) é a causa mais comum de demência que se caracteriza por processo degenerativo que acomete múltiplas funções corticais e ocorrem em sua maioria após os 65 anos de idade. A DA tem como uma das opções de tratamento não farmacológico a musicoterapia com o intuito de reforço e treinamento do cognitivo. O objetivo desse estudo é analisar a musicoterapia como intervenção e impacto na reabilitação cognitiva de pacientes com a doença de Alzheimer. Trata-se de uma pesquisa de revisão sistemática da literatura. Após a realização da análise das publicações foram selecionados 6 artigos e 1 dissertação, totalizando 7 produções com respaldo científico para a discussão do tema. Os resultados mostraram que o uso da musicoterapia podem permitir uma experiência capaz de ampliar e ativar emoções e a cognição contribuindo para a qualidade de vida e tratamento. Concluiu-se que a música como ferramenta terapêutica é capaz de amenizar o sofrimento diante dos sinais e sintomas da doença, estimula a plasticidade cerebral e o retardo do declínio cognitivo.

Abstract:
Alzheimer's disease (AD) is the most common cause of dementia, which is characterized by a degenerative process that affects multiple cortical functions and occurs mainly after the age of 65 years. One of the nonpharmacological treatment options for AD is music therapy with the intention of strengthening and training the cognitive. The aim of this study is to analyze music therapy as an intervention and impact on the cognitive rehabilitation of patients with Alzheimer's disease. This is a systematic review of the literature; therefore, the bibliographic procedure and the qualitative approach were used. After analyzing the publications, six articles and one dissertation were selected, totaling seven productions with scientific support for the discussion of the topic. The quality results that a music therapy use experience can amplify and the quality emotions and experience enable quality of life and treatment. It was concluded that music as a therapeutic tool is capable of alleviating suffering in the face of the signs and symptoms of the disease, promoting brain plasticity and delaying cognitive decline.
