A MULHER REPRESENTADA PELA IGREJA PRESBITERIANA NOS ANOS 70: A REVISTA ALVORADA E A IMAGEM FEMININA.
A religião tem sido um dos
dispositivos de construção de subjetividades, e
isso influencia na adoção de práticas concretas
pelos homens. Nesse texto pretendemos
apresentar uma dessas construções, fundadas
na Religião. Nesse texto, enfatizaremos a
perspectiva de mulher difundida pela Igreja
Presbiteriana Independente por meio da
Revista Alvorada. A pesquisa retratada nesse
trabalho foi construída com base na análise
de duas revistas produzidas pela Igreja em
questão nos anos 70, considerando a produção
dos artigos, imagens e uma análise global
dessa mídia impressa. A análise nos permitiu
concluir que pela Revista foi difundido o perfil
da mulher que deveria ser preparada para o
casamento heterossexual, maternidade e para
o trabalho doméstico, o que entra em contraste
com os movimento feministas e a reivindicação
de direitos de igualdade feminina que estavam
presentes no Brasil nesse contexto.

Abstract:
Religion has been one of the
devices for constructing subjectivities, and this
influences the adoption of concrete practices
by men. In this text we intend to present one
of these constructions, founded on Religion. In
this text, we will emphasize the perspective of
Women spread by the Independent Presbyterian
Church through the Alvorada Magazine. The
research portrayed in this work was constructed
based on the analysis of two magazines
produced by the Church in question in the 70s,
considering the production of articles, images
and a global analysis of this printed media. The
analysis allowed us to conclude that the Revista
has spread the profile of women who should be
prepared for heterosexual marriage, maternity
and domestic work, which contrasts with the
feminist movements and the claim of women’s
equality rights that were present in Brazil in this
context.
