The present study is a bibliographical review, and it is a partial result of research that analyzes black women based on the theoretical conceptions of the categories of class and race by author Lélia Gonzales. This author dedicated her studies to analyzing the country’s formation based on the black people, especially black womenm who were deprived of their humanity, being placed in an entirely servile space, in which the purpose of their existence was to feed, to educate and to take care of white children daughters of their masters. Thus, bringing in her works her place and contribution in the formation of Brazilian’s society, which, unconsciously, trasmitted black culture and its values. In light of this, the contribution and importance of Lélia Gonzalez’s thought to the formation of the country and her contributions to black feminism are notable.
