A MISSÃO FRANCESA: UMA REFLEXÃO SOBRE A INFLUÊNCIA DOS ANNALES NO BRASIL NOS ANOS 30
Este presente artigo tem como pretensão analisar a influência da historiografia francesa no Brasil nos anos de 1930, seja na fundação da USP em 1934 ou na fundação da Universidade do Distrito Federal em 1935, onde a chamada "missão francesa" enviou ao Brasil professores como Henri Hauser, Roger Bastide, Paul Arbousse-Bastide, Braudel, Lévi-Strauss, Pierre Monbeig, entre outros, no sentido de "catequizar" e "civilizar" a nação brasileira, onde até então operava nosso passado obscuro, não civilizado e anti-cristão.

Abstract:
This present article intends to analyze the influence of French historiography in Brazil in the 1930s, is the USP of the foundation in 1934 or in the founding of the Federal District University in 1935, where the so-called "French mission" sent to Brazil teachers as Roger Bastide, Paul Arbousse-Bastide, Braudel, Lévi-Strauss, Pierre Monbeig, among others, to "evangelize" and "civilize" the Brazilian nation, where it had operated our dark past, uncivilized and anti-Christian.
