O presente texto visa analisar o romance A medida do mundo, do escritor alemão Daniel Kehlmann. A investigação traz uma análise de como ocorrem os movimentos entre territórios e pensamentos, em capítulos que narram episódios das vidas de Carl Friedrich Gauss e de Alexander von Humboldt, num híbrido de eventos reais e ficcionais. Além disso, enfatizam-se as viagens de Humboldt e as relações transdisciplinares existentes em suas diferentes pesquisas, mostrando o quanto a ficção e a ciência estão interconectadas no que se refere aos saberes sobre e para a vida.

Abstract:
This text aims to analyze the novel The Measurement of the World, by the German writer Daniel Kehlmann. The investigation brings an analysis on the manifestation of movements among territories and thoughts, in chapters that describe episodes corresponding to the lives of Carl Friedrich Gauss and Alexander von Humboldt, in a hybrid of real and fictional events. Furthermore, the study emphasizes Humboldt’s travels and the transdisciplinary associations established in his diverse researches, presenting how fiction and science are interwoven in terms of knowledge about life and for life.
