A MECÂNICA DOS AGENTES IMPONDERÁVEIS: UMA PROPOSTA DE INTEGRAÇÃO PARA AS DISCIPLINAS DE QUÍMICA E MECÂNICA NO ENSINO TÉCNICO
Partindo de pesquisa historiográfica
sobre o papel dos agentes imponderáveis
na filosofia natural entre os séculos XVIII e
XIX, os estudantes/pesquisadores envolvidos
neste projeto assumiram o desafio de construir
dispositivos experimentais capazes de explorar
propriedades dos agentes invisíveis calor e
eletricidade. Com isso identificamos na história
da ciência uma estratégia para integração
didática das disciplinas de química e mecânica
no âmbito do ensino médio integrado ao técnico.

Abstract:
Historiographical research show
that uncovering properties of invisible agents
played a major role in the studies of natural
philosophy in the 18th and 19th centuries.
Based on that, the students/researches
involved in this project took up the challenge of
constructing experimental devices to tackle heat
and electricity. Results allow us to take history
of science as a useful strategy for integrating
the classes of chemistry and mechanics in the
scope of secondary technical education.
