A MATERNIDADE REPRESENTADA NO FILME MARIA ANTONIETA (2006)
O presente artigo buscou compreender como a maternidade é representada no filme Maria Antonieta (2006), de Sofia Coppola. A pesquisa problematiza os valores que constroem as visões da sociedade sobre a maternidade, bem como o filme histórico como fonte aos historiadores. Além disso, este artigo pretendeu analisar como a cineasta Coppola, realiza através de uma interpretação pessoal, um paralelo entre um momento do passado no qual se pode identificar a presença da cultura do presente em uma narrativa fictícia sobre a personagem histórica Maria Antonieta.

Abstract:
This article sought to understand how motherhood is represented in the film Marie Antoinette (2006), by Sofia Coppola. The research problematizes the values that build society's views on motherhood, as well as the historical film as a source for historians. In addition, this article intends to analyze how the filmmaker Coppola, through a personal interpretation, performs a parallel between a moment in the past in which one can identify the presence of present culture in a fictional narrative about the historical character Marie Antoinette.
