A Matemática das profissões
Diante da visão que a Matemática
nem sempre é ensinada de forma a fazer com
que os alunos percebam a aplicabilidade no
seu dia a dia, como também, na sua futura
profissão, o presente trabalho foi desenvolvido
com o intuito de mostrar a relevância do uso
da Matemática na vida dos educandos e do
seu futuro profissional, por meio do recurso
audiovisual: o vídeo. A proposta foi realizada
com a turma do 9° ano do Ensino Fundamental
de uma instituição de ensino particular
situada na cidade de Parnamirim - RN. Para
atingir as metas estabelecidas, fez-se uso da
metodologia de ensino – TIC’s, de forma a levar
o público citado a produzir curtas filmagens
procurando ressaltar a matemática presente
em algumas profissões. Vinculado ao objetivo
do projeto, algumas ações metodológicas foram
desenvolvidas, como: aplicação de questionários
sob caráter qualitativo e quantitativo sobre
a relação da Matemática no cotidiano das
profissões e sobre TIC’s em sala de aula,
exposição de vídeos norteadores, orientações
a respeito da produção das curtas filmagens
e a apresentação dos vídeos, que indicou a
culminância do projeto. Os resultados obtidos
com a aplicação do projeto foram satisfatórios,
pois foi possível possibilitar aos educandos a
visão de que a Matemática está presente em
seu futuro profissional, desde a menor até a
maior das ações, como também, introduzir
um novo recurso metodológico proporcionado
uma linguagem moderna e lúdica de expandir o
conhecimento.

Abstract:
In the face that mathematics is
not always taught in a way that makes students
perceive the applicability on their daily life, as well
as in their future profession the present paper
was developed with the purpose of showing
the relevance of the use of mathematics in the
life of students and their professional future,
through the audiovisual resource: the video.
The proposal was held with the class of the ninth
grade of High School of a private educational
institution located in the city of Parnamirim —
RN. In order to achieve the established goals,
teaching methodology — ICT’s, was used to
lead the cited audience to produce short video
shootings seeking to emphasize the math that

is present in some professions. Linked to the objective of the project, some actions
were developed, such as: application of questionnaires of qualitative and quantitative
aspect about the relation of Math in everyday of the professions and about ICT’s inside
the classroom, exposure of guiding videos, orientations regarding the production of
the short video shootings and the presentation of the videos, which indicated the
culmination of the project. The results obtained with the application of the project were
satisfactory since it enabled to the students the view that Mathematics is present in
their professional future from the smallest to the largest of actions, as well as introduce
a new methodological resource providing a modern and playful language to expand
knowledge
