Abstract: The object of this research is: ludicity as a didactic tool in the teaching-learning process in early childhood education. We suggest answering how recreational activities can contribute as a didactic tool in the teaching-learning process in early childhood education. The general objective was: To analyze the contributions of ludic pedagogical practices in the development of children in early childhood education in the teaching-learning process. This is a documental, bibliographic research with a qualitative approach. The collected data were analyzed based on the theoretical assumptions of: Vygotsky, Luria e Leontiev (1998), Kishimoto (1999, 1996). The results of this research lead to an understanding of the importance of ludic in the teaching-learning process in early childhood education. Ludic strategies make it possible to know the limitations of children, leading them to create their own development strategies.
