A literatura e o cinema: uma proposta de diálogo no ensino de língua portuguesa
Este trabalho tem como objetivo
apresentar a oficina intitulada “Literatura
e cinema” que fez parte das atividades
desenvolvidas no Programa Institucional
de Bolsa de Iniciação à Docência (PIBID),
Subprojeto de Letras, da Universidade Federal
da Fronteira Sul, campus Realeza. A atividade
foi realizada com alunos de 3º ano do Ensino
Médio de uma escola da rede pública do
município de Realeza, que envolveu tanto a
literatura, por meio da contextualização e da
leitura de fragmentos da obra Ana Terra, do
escritor Érico Veríssimo, quanto o cinema, uma
vez que contemplou a articulação da obra de
Veríssimo com o filme O Tempo e o Vento,
dirigido por Jayme Monjardim. Em razão do
tempo para a realização das atividades ser
reduzido, a metodologia permeou na leitura
conjunta de fragmentos pré-selecionados da
obra Ana Terra, para que, em casa, os alunos
instigados buscassem fazer a leitura integral
do livro. Além disso, analisamos na íntegra o
filme O Tempo e o Vento. Proporcionou-se em
rodas de conversa, discussões, interpretações,
análises e a construção de conhecimentos. Uma
das reflexões relacionou-se à comparação da
personagem mulher em Ana Terra e O Tempo e
o Vento no que tange a consciência natural do
tempo, profissão, relação com o vento, superação
e a simbologia da mulher riograndense da
obra literária e cinematográfica, enfatizando
que ambas são importantes estratégias de
ensino. Para além da conversa coletiva, os
alunos produziram resenhas críticas sobre
as atividades desenvolvidas, posteriormente
socializadas no mural do colégio.

Abstract:
This paper aims to present the
workshop “Literature and cinema” that was
part of the activities developed in the Programa
Institucional de Bolsa de Iniciação à Docência
(PIBID), Subproject of Letters, from Universidade
Federal da Fronteira Sul, Realeza campus.
The activity was carried out with the 3rd year
students of high school from a public school in
Realeza, which involved both literature, through
the contextualization and reading of fragments of
Ana Terra’s work, the writer Érico Veríssimo, and
the Cinema, since it contemplated the articulation
of Veríssimo’s work with the film Time and the
Wind, directed by Jayme Monjardim. Because
of the reduced time of carrying out the activities,
the methodology permeated just reading preselected
fragments of Ana Terra’s work, so
that, at home, the students may read the whole
book. In addition, we analyzed the film Time
and the Wind fully. Discussions, interpretations,
analyzes and the construction of knowledge were provided in conversation. One of the
reflections was related to the comparison of the female character in Ana Terra and Time
and the Wind in what concerns the natural consciousness of time, profession, relation
with the wind, overcoming and the symbology of the woman from Rio Grande do Sul
in literary and cinematographic work, emphasizing that both are important strategies to
teach. In addition to the collective talk, the students produced critical reviews about the
activities developed, later these reviews were socialized on the school wall.
