O que se pretende discutir nas próximas páginas é até que ponto a Literatura

Apocalíptica Judaica pode representar, ao menos em parte, o resultado de

possíveis contatos interculturais com os povos do Oriente Próximo. Para tanto,

abordaremos o discurso apocalíptico judaico como uma expressão do seu

tempo histórico, pois este tipo particular de literatura surge no período

conhecido como Judaísmo do Segundo Templo e apresenta características

bem distintas da sua antecessora a Literatura Profética. Através da pesquisa

bibliográfica, apoiando-se nas ultimas reflexões a respeito do tema,

buscaremos encontrar na Literatura Apocalíptica Judaica elementos que

demonstrem possíveis influências externas, fruto dos contatos com as

tradições babilônicas, persas e greco-romanas.

Abstract:
What we intend to discuss in the following pages is the extent to which Jewish

Apocalyptic Literature can represent, at least in part, the result of possible

intercultural contacts with the peoples of the Near East. To do so, we will

approach the Jewish apocalyptic discourse as an expression of its historical

time, as this particular type of literature appears in the period known as Judaism

of the Second Temple and has characteristics quite different from its

predecessor the Prophetic Literature. Through bibliographic research, based on

the latest reflections on the theme, we will seek to find in the Apocalyptic Jewish

Literature elements that demonstrate possible external influences, the result of

contacts with Babylonian, Persian and Greco-Roman traditions.
