Os infindáveis debates do campo das ciências da linguagem jamais cessarão. O importante é que muito se tem feito, principalmente no campo da linguística, para que os preconceitos linguístico-culturais tão presentes em nossas relações sociais, possam ser conscientemente atacados e extirpados, através de uma política-educacional-linguística de qualidade. Mas muito ainda temos que fazer para que a linguagem da vida possa, enfim, fazer parte indissociável da linguagem da escola.

Abstract:
The endless debates in the field of language sciences will never cease. The important thing is that much has been done, especially in the field of linguistics, so that the linguistic-cultural prejudices so present in our social relations can be consciously attacked and extirpated, through a quality educational-linguistic policy. But we still have a lot to do so that the language of life can, at last, become an inseparable part of the language of school.
