A LÍNGUA MATERNA E A LINGUAGEM MATEMÁTICA: DA EUROPA AO BRASIL, DIÁLOGOS PERENES
As ligações entre a linguagem matemática e língua materna vêm sendo pesquisadas de maneira contundente desde o final do século passado na União Europeia (UE), colocando-as como competências essenciais à realização pessoal, à cidadania ativa, à inclusão social e à empregabilidade no século XXI. Constatam-se, de maneira contínua e crescente, grandes convergências nesses dois domínios do conhecimento e, portanto, é premente a necessidade de se estabelecer uma maior imbricação entre eles, expandindo-se a visão de letramento tradicional, para uma proposta mais atual e abrangente acerca daquelas linguagens.

Abstract:
The links between mathematical language and mother tongue have been vigorously researched since the end of the last century in the European Union (EU), placing them as essential competences for personal fulfillment, active citizenship, social inclusion and employability in the century XXI. There are, continuously and increasingly, great convergences in these two domains of knowledge and, therefore, there is an urgent need to establish a greater overlap between them, expanding the vision of traditional literacy, for a more current and comprehensive proposal. about those languages.
