A LEITURA NO BRASIL - UMA REFLEXÃO SOBRE A LITERATURA PARA CRIANÇAS NA EDUCAÇÃO INFANTIL
Os objetivos desta pesquisa são verificar e contribuir para uma reflexão crítica da leitura no contexto brasileiro; aprofundar discussão quanto à importância da literatura na formação de leitores na educação infantil, e sua contribuição nas transformações do meio em que vivi; Uma maior ênfase à leitura na formação acadêmica, e o professor leitor como objeto fundamental na mediação da leitura. Justifica-se este trabalho na necessidade da formação do professor leitor; é fato que é preciso que a escola busque conhecer e desenvolver na criança as competências da leitura, e que a literatura pode ser um instrumento motivador e desafiador capaz de proporcionar transformações no indivíduo de acordo com sua necessidade, através da recreação e outras atividades de interação ela pode proporcionar o despertar e o prazer pela leitura. A metodologia utilizada para confecção deste estudo foi pesquisa bibliográfica, desenvolvido com materiais publicados em livros e redes eletrônicas, acompanhada de pesquisa de campo com base na observação do trabalho desenvolvido por professores de uma escola pública municipal, com objetivo de observar o papel do professor enquanto mediador da leitura na Educação Infantil. Os resultados demonstram que algo esta sendo feito, porém muito ainda é preciso fazer para que a leitura possa de fato exercer o seu papel, quanto ao professor é impossível ensinar a aquilo que ele mesmo não conhece; a família tem seu papel importante, e quanto mais cedo o acesso a leitura maior a possibilidades na formação do indivíduo leitor.

Abstract:
The objectives of this research are to verify and contribute to a critical reflection on reading in the Brazilian context; Deepen the discussion about the importance of literature in the training of readers in early childhood education, and its contribution to the changes in the environment in which I lived. A greater emphasis on reading in academic education, and the teacher reader as a fundamental object in the mediation of reading. This work is justified in the need to train the reader teacher; it is a fact that it is necessary that the school seeks to know and develop reading skills in children, and that literature can be a motivating and challenging instrument capable of providing transformations in the individual according to their needs, through recreation and other interactive activities it can provide awakening and pleasure in reading. A greater emphasis on reading in academic education, and the teacher reader as a fundamental object in the mediation of reading. The methodology used for the preparation of this study was bibliographic research, developed with materials published in books and electronic networks, accompanied by field research based on the observation of the work developed by teachers from a municipal public school, in order to observe the role of the teacher while reading mediator in Early Childhood Education. The results show that something is being done, but much remains to be done so that reading can actually play its part, as for the teacher it is impossible to teach what he himself does not know; the family has an important role, and the sooner access to reading, the greater the possibilities in the formation of the individual reader.
