A INTERPRETAÇÃO TEXTUAL ATRELADA A RESOLUÇÃO DE PROBLEMAS
O presente trabalho tem como objetivo identificar as dificuldades dos alunos na interpretação textual e atrelar a importância da leitura ao ensino de matemática, notadamente à resolução de problemas. Para tanto, foi realizada uma pesquisa incluindo uma turma do 4° ano do Ensino Fundamental com alunos entre nove e dez anos de idade, onde propusemos uma lista com nove questões; ontendo três das quatro operações básicas de matemática, das quais algumas abrangiam situações-problemas necessitando da correta interpretação. Com a atividade realizada foi possível deduzir a exiguidade das habilidades na leitura, que ocasiona uma errônea interpretação do enunciado levando-o ao desacerto da questão.

Abstract:
This paper aims to identify students' difficulties in textual interpretation and to link the importance of reading to the teaching of mathematics, notably problem solving. To this end, a survey was carried out including a 4th grade class of elementary school with students between nine and ten years old, where we proposed a list with nine questions; comprising three of the four basic mathematical operations, some of which covered problem situations requiring correct interpretation. With the activity carried out, it was possible to deduce the lack of reading skills, which leads to an erroneous interpretation of the statement, leading him to correct the question.
