A INTERAÇÃO DO ALUNO DENTRO DO AMBIENTE VIRTUAL DE APRENDIZAGEM MOODLE E SUA INFLUÊNCIA NO DESEMPENHO DENTRO DA DISCIPLINA: UM ESTUDO DE CASO
Com o exponencial aumento no
número de vagas no ensino superior alcançado
nos últimos anos, tornou-se preocupante
a eficácia e eficiência de tais vagas, o que
fomentou estudos inerentes a retenção e
evasão no ensino superior. Este estudo teve
como objetivo acrescentar uma colaboração
aos estudos sobre retenção na modalidade de
educação a distância que utilizem ambientes
virtuais de aprendizagem. A metodologia
utilizada baseia-se no mapeamento da
interação dos acadêmicos com os recursos
oferecidos em uma disciplina ofertada em um
ambiente virtual na Universidade do Estado de
Mato Grosso pela plataforma Moodle, após o
mapeamento, estes dados foram confrontados
com o desempenho (nota, aprovação e
reprovação) dos alunos na disciplina, afim de
se obter um relacionamento entre a forma de
interação e sua influência no desempenho
acadêmico. Os resultados evidenciaram que os
logs de interação fornecido pelo ambiente virtual
tem muito a nos mostrar, possibilitando realizar
análises preditivas do desempenho de acordo
com determinados comportamentos dentro do
ambiente virtual. Ficou explicitado que os logs
de interação são informações muito ricas, e não
podem ser desperdiçadas nos estudos e gestão
dentro da EaD, podendo trazer contribuições
importantes para o avanço e fortalecimento da
educação a distância.

Abstract:
With the exponential increase in the number of places in higher education
achieved in recent years , it has become disturbing the effectiveness and efficiency
of such vacancies, which fomented studies inherent retention and dropout in higher
education. This study aimed to add collaboration to studies on retention in the education
of the distance mode using virtual learning environments. The methodology is based on
the mapping of the academic interaction with the features offered in a course offered in
a virtual environment at the State University of Mato Grosso by Moodle, after mapping
these data were compared with the performance ( note, approval and disapproval )
of the students in the discipline , in order to obtain a relationship between the form of
interaction and its influence on academic performance. The results showed that the
interaction logs provided by the virtual environment has a lot to show us , allowing
perform predictive analysis of performance according to certain behaviors in the virtual
environment. He explained that the interaction logs are very rich information, and can
not be missed in studies and management within the distance education, can make
important contributions to the advancement and strengthening of distance education
