A Inteligência Artificial (IA) tem se consolidado como um dos avanços tecnológicos mais significativos da atualidade. O ChatGpt, um modelo de IA generativa, destaca-se por sua capacidade de interagir, produzir textos e conteúdos. No entanto, sua ampla aplicabilidade, especialmente no meio acadêmico, suscitam dilemas éticos que demandam análise e formulação de diretrizes para seu uso responsável. Desta forma, o objetivo do trabalho foi descrever sobre os benefícios da IA, os princípios éticos e responsáveis de uso do ChatGpt na educação por meio da revisão bibliográfica. A IA se destaca pela sua capacidade de melhorar a vida humana em diferentes áreas, como saúde, automação industrial, educação, entretenimento, entre outras. Por outro lado, os impactos negativos também são relevantes e exigem reflexão ética e social. Quanto aos princípios éticos no desenvolvimento e na utilização da IA é fundamental assegurar privacidade, transparência e uso responsável. Deve-se adotar uma postura consciente para evitar riscos como dependência excessiva, redução do pensamento crítico ou uso inadequado de conteúdo. No meio acadêmico, a IA deve ser usada como complemento e a tecnologia deve servir como apoio ao aprendizado e não como forma de substituir o esforço intelectual. É importante recorrer a ela para esclarecer dúvidas e explorar diferentes perspectivas, mas sem abrir mão da reflexão e da produção autônoma de conhecimento. As respostas geradas pela IA podem ser superficiais ou  imprecisas, o que reforça a importância de confirmar os dados em fontes confiáveis. A transparência também deve ser preservada e é importante declarar de forma clara quando a IA foi utilizada para identificar as contribuições humanas e aquelas apoiadas pela tecnologia. Na educação, a IA pode alterar metodologias de ensino e aprendizagem, oferecendo personalização e feedback imediato. Esses resultados reforçam que o uso ético da IA na educação deve respeitar limites claros: a tecnologia deve atuar como apoio e não como substituto da prática docente. Concluiu-se que a IA e o ChatGpt podem oferecer potencial para o avanço da sociedade, porém é essencial que seu desenvolvimento e uso sejam pautados de forma ética e por uma cultura de responsabilidade e transparência.

  • Abstract: Artificial Intelligence (AI) has established itself as one of the most significant technological advancements of our time. ChatGpt, a generative AI model, stands out for its ability to interact, produce texts, and create content. However, its wide applicability, especially in academia, raises ethical dilemmas that demand analysis and the formulation of guidelines for its responsible use. Therefore, the objective of this work was to describe the benefits of AI and the ethical and responsible principles for the use of ChatGpt in education through a literature review. AI stands out for its ability to improve human life in various areas, such as healthcare, industrial automation, education, entertainment, and others. On the other hand, the negative impacts are also significant and require ethical and social reflection. Regarding ethical principles in the development and use of AI, it is fundamental to ensure privacy, transparency, and responsible use. A conscious approach should be adopted to avoid risks such as excessive dependence, reduced critical thinking, or inappropriate use of content.
