A INFLUÊNCIA DOS TUTORES NA EDUCAÇÃO DE ÓRFÃOS EM MARIANA. (1790-1822)
O objetivo desta pesquisa é
investigar o papel e a importância que os
tutores exerciam na educação e na inserção
social de seus tutelados no termo de Mariana,
região pertencente à comarca de Vila Rica
(Capitania das Minas Gerais), no final do século
XVIII e início do XIX. A proposta é analisar se
a educação direcionada aos órfãos era uma
estratégia educativa, uma vontade ou influência
do tutor, ou estava apenas relacionada às
condições socioeconômicas e de nascimento
dos órfãos

Abstract:
The objective of this research is to
investigate the role and importance that tutors
had in the education and social inclusion of their
wards in Mariana, region belonging to the district
of Vila Rica (Captaincy of Minas Gerais), in the
late eighteenth and early nineteenth centuries.
The goal is to analyze if the education directed
at the orphans was an educational strategy,
a will or influence of the tutor, or was merely
related to social, economic and birth status of
the orphans
