A INFLUÊNCIA DO USO DE MEDICAMENTOS NO COMPORTAMENTO SUICIDA: UMA REVISÃO NARRATIVA
Os problemas de saúde mental têm tomado conta do cenário mundial, fato que tem gerado preocupação nos mais diversos âmbitos da sociedade. Assim, sabe-se que o comportamento suicida está associado a diversos fatores, inclusive às reações adversas de determinados fármacos. Considerando, então, o conhecimento de comportamentos suicidas induzidos por medicamentos, objetiva-se neste trabalho verificar as evidências disponíveis na literatura sobre o uso de medicamentos e a ocorrência de potenciais reações adversas psiquiátricas. Para tanto, optou-se pela realização de uma revisão narrativa, efetuada através da seleção de artigos em diferentes bases de dados bibliográficas – PubMed, JAMA, Scielo e Google Scholar. A seleção dos artigos foi atemporal, utilizando-se termos livres para a localização de uma maior quantidade de referências. A partir da análise dos artigos selecionados, evidenciou-se que diversos fármacos já são relacionados à indução de transtornos de humor e comportamentos suicidas na literatura. Os fármacos mais relatados são os atuantes sobre o sistema nervoso central, como os antidepressivos e antiepilépticos. Além disso, alguns anticoncepcionais hormonais e agentes dermatológicos também são comumente abordados, como é o caso da isotretinoína. Com base nos aspectos encontrados, evidencia-se a necessidade de maior atividade do profissional farmacêutico em pacientes com doenças psiquiátricas, de forma que possíveis reações adversas possam ser monitoradas e gerenciadas. De modo semelhante, a atuação da equipe interprofissional se faz imprescindível na presente temática, a fim de que a integralidade no atendimento ao paciente seja garantida.

Abstract:
Mental health problems have taken over the world scenario, a fact that has generated concern in the most diverse areas of society. Thus, suicidal behavior is known to be associated with several factors, including the adverse reaction of several medicines. By considering the drug-induced suicidal behaviors knowledge this study objective was to verify the evidence available in the literature about the medicine uses and the occurrence of potential psychiatric adverse reactions. To this end, it was decided to carry out a narrative review, carried out through the selection of articles in different bibliographic databases - PubMed, JAMA, Scielo and Google Scholar. The article selections was timeless by using free terms to locate a larger number of references. From the analysis of the selected articles, it was evidenced that several drugs are related to the mood disorders and suicidal behaviors inductions in the literature. The most reported drugs are those acting on the central nervous system, such as antidepressants and antiepileptics. In addition, some hormonal contraceptives and dermatological agents are also commonly addressed, such as isotretinoin. Based on the aspects found, the need for greater activity by pharmaceutical professional in psychiatric disease patients is evident, so that possible adverse reactions can be monitored and managed. In a same way, the interprofessional team performance is essential in this cenary, so that the patient care integrality is guaranteed.
