Abstract: Cosmetics have several functions and are of interest to all audiences. With the advent of the pandemic of COVID-19 the industry suffered a negative impact, since the consumer has been cautious when consuming prioritizing certain products. But, it is observed that spending on cosmetics is related to cultural, social, and economic habits, and several authors have reported their influence on the well-being and self-esteem of individuals. Aiming to evaluate the influence of cosmetics on well-being during the pandemic, the present work was a transversal cut through a data survey, of exploratory descriptive nature and quantitative approach, which included the application of an online form for educated people of different age groups and social classes, in order to obtain data about the relationship of individuals with cosmetics and their influence on well-being. Through the results obtained from the participants' answers, in which the use, need, and frequency of cosmetics and their influence on well-being were analyzed, the results were positive. It was found that hygiene products such as deodorants and soaps were considered the most necessary, and, most participants who increased the use of these products in the pandemic, plan to maintain the same frequency at the end of it, which indicates that there will not be a significant increase in the sector, suggesting socioeconomic influence.
