A língua portuguesa sofreu grande influência das línguas africanas que foram trazidas da África para o Brasil. Esta pesquisa focaliza o estudo da influência das línguas africanas como legado e contribuição para a formação da língua portuguesa e leva em conta o contexto da língua portuguesa no Brasil e da presença africana na sua constituição. Visa ainda ponderar sobre a importância da Lei Nº. 10. 639/2003 para o ensino da cultura afro – brasileira. A metodologia abordada relaciona-se à pesquisa bibliográfica, sendo os apontamentos construídos a partir da revisão e análise crítica de obras sobre a temática.

  • Abstract: The Portuguese language has undergone great influence of African languages which were brought from Africa to Brazil. This research focuses on studying the influence of African languages as a legacy and contribution to the formation of the Portuguese language and takes into account the context of the Portuguese language in Brazil and the African presence in its constitution. Visa also ponder the importance of the Law no. 10. 639/2003 for the teaching of african culture - Brazil. The methodology addressed relates to the literature, being built from the notes of the review and critical analysis of works on the subject.
