A INFLUÊNCIA DA FORÇA E EQUILÍBRIO NA QUALIDADE DE VIDA DE UMA PACIENTE COM DERMATOPOLIMIOSITE: RELATO DE CASO.
A Dermatopolimiosite (DM) é
uma doença adquirida do tecido conjuntivo
de caráter autoimune, associando miopatia
a manifestações cutâneas características,
do trato gastrintestinal e disfagia. O objetivo do
estudo foi avaliar os efeitos de um programa
de exercícios com intensidade progressiva
na qualidade de vida de uma paciente com
Dermatopolimiosite. O estudo foi descritivo
exploratório, com análise quantitativa efetivada
por um programa de reabilitação, no Laboratório
de Estudos de Neurociências e Comportamento
da Faculdade de Educação Física e Fisioterapia/
UFAM. A amostra foi composta por uma (1)
paciente, completando o plano de tratamento
em nove meses, resultando na evolução do
equilíbrio (36 para 52); da força dos membros
inferiores tanto proximais (grau 4) quanto
vida.

Abstract:
Dermatopolymyositis (DM) is an
acquired autoimmune connective tissue disease,
associating myopathy with characteristic
cutaneous manifestations, cutaneous
calcinosis, cutaneous and systemic eruptions
such as heliotrope and Gottron’s papules, respiratory muscle alterations, difficulty in
combing the hair and raising the upper limbs in general, joint, cardiac, pulmonary and
gastrointestinal tract and dysphagia. The objective of this study was to evaluate the
effects of an exercise program with progressive intensity on the quality of life of a patient
with Dermatopolymyositis. The study was descriptive exploratory, with quantitative
analysis carried out by a rehabilitation program, in the Laboratory of Neuroscience
and Behavior Studies of the Faculty of Physical Education and Physiotherapy / UFAM.
The sample consisted of one (1) patient, completing the treatment plan in nine months,
resulting in the evolution of the balance (36 to 52); of the strength of both proximal
(grade 4) and distal (grade 5) lower limbs; proximal upper limbs (grade 4) and distal
upper limbs (grade 4); and, in MOS SF-36, improved in all domains. It was concluded
that the exercises with progressive intensity were effective, minimizing the factors of
risk of fall as well as the increase of bone mass improving the quality of life.
