Abstract: Global Developmental Disorders (PDD) are characterized by a severe impairment in several areas of children's development. Autism is a syndrome of neurodevelopmental change almost characterized by persistent deficiency in social communication and social interaction and in restricted and repetitive behavior patterns. When the family learns that they have a child diagnosed with autism, disorder, worry, and frustration develop in their families due to a lack of information about the syndrome in order to explain which symptoms and treatments are recommended. With this study, we sought new knowledge to work with more quality with the children who present this diagnosis, bringing improvements in their quality of life, with the objective of knowing the influence of the family in the overall development of the student with TGD in a deeper way , Besides observing the discussions about the development of the TGD student from 0 to 5 years and what methodology was used to identify the student with TGD. The qualitative factors of analysis are: the family; The development from 0 to 5 years of age and the student with TGD. This research is a bibliographical one, carried out with literature reviews in articles of data bases: Scielo, PubMed, Science Direct and Portal of journals of CAPES, on Global Developmental Disorders. The results point to a great shortage of information and further studies are needed.
