A INFÂNCIA NEGRA E QUILOMBOLA NA PERSPECTIVA DA LEI 9.394/1996 EM ALCÂNTARA – MA
Este texto objetiva discutir “A infância negra e quilombola na perspectiva da Lei 9.394/1996 em Alcântara – MA”. O problema reside na inserção tardia da temática racial na LDB 9.394/1996. O escrito está dividido em duas partes, na primeira trata-se dos aspectos históricos de Alcântara e a emergência dos estudos da infância e, o segundo, do quilombo como espaço de construção do conhecimento da infância negra e quilombola. O texto se insere no campo da História da Educação, sob inspiração dos pressupostos teóricos e metodológicos da História Cultural, de interesse, também, para o campo das Políticas Educacionais. Encera-se o texto afirmando que, apesar da inserção tardia da temática racial na LDB 9.394/96, as lutas continuam para sua efetivação com a Lei 10.639/2003.

Abstract:
This text aims to discuss "The black and quilombola childhood from the perspective of Law 9.394/ 1996 in Alcântara - MA". The problem lies in the late insertion of the racial theme in LDB 9.394/ 1996. The writing is divided into two parts, the first deals with the historical aspects of Alcântara and the emergence of childhood studies, and the second, deals with the quilombo as a space for the construction of knowledge of black and quilombola childhood. The text is inserted in the field of History of Education, inspired by the theoretical and methodological assumptions of Cultural History, of interest, also, to the field of Educational Policies. The text concludes by stating that, despite the late insertion of the racial theme in LDB 9.394 / 96, the combat continues for its effectiveness with the law 10.639 / 2003.
