A INEFICÁCIA DOS DIREITOS HUMANOS FUNDAMENTAIS NAS CHACINAS DO CARANDIRU E DE ALCAÇUZ
Direitos Humanos são aqueles que devem ser assegurados pelo Estado a fim de preservar a dignidade da pessoa humana. No Brasil, por conta da má gestão administrativa, pode-se identificar um descaso latente desses direitos, principalmente, no sistema carcerário, onde segurança, saúde e proteção são esquecidas. Nesse resumo expandido, buscamos evidenciar esse problema, exemplificando-o com as tragédias da Casa de Detenção Carandiru (1992) e da Penitenciária de Alcaçuz (2017) a partir do método bibliográfico.

Abstract:
Human rights are those that must be ensured by the state in order to preserve the dignity of the human person. In Brazil, due to poor administrative management, one can identify a latent disregard for these rights, especially in the prison system, where safety, health and protection are forgotten. In this expanded summary, we seek to highlight this problem, exemplifying it with the tragedies of the Carandiru Detention House (1992) and the Alcaçuz Penitentiary (2017) based on the bibliographic method.
