A INCLUSÃO ESCOLAR NO ENSINO FUNDAMENTAL NA REDE MUNICIPAL DE MAURITI-CE E ATUAÇÃO DOS CUIDADORES

• Abstract: According to the LBI, it is ensured that the educational system offers inclusive education in all modalities and levels, guaranteeing specialized service with trained professionals. Based on this statement, the general objective of this work is to investigate the context of caregivers' actions for the school inclusion of children with disabilities in primary education in the municipal network of Mauriti-CE. This is an exploratory field research with a qualitative approach, carried out with four (4) professional school caregivers. The data was produced from the application of semi-structured questionnaires and analyzed considering the content analysis perspective. The results obtained indicate that mediators face several difficulties, among the main ones it is possible to highlight that the training carried out to be professional caregivers was not enough in the school environment. In this way, it is possible to infer that greater support and continued training is needed for teachers and caregivers, also thinking about their role within the classroom, as they must act in all school activities in which their presence is necessary. Therefore, it is necessary to reflect on the role of the caregiver, in addition, it is necessary to carry out practices that value, recognize and give visibility to this professional.
