A INCLUSÃO DO ALUNO SURDO NO ENSINO SUPERIOR
O trabalho objetiva apresentar um panorama geral da educação do aluno deficiente no ensino superior, com destaque para o aluno surdo. Nesse sentido, perpassa pelas especificidades linguísticas, educacionais e culturais relativas ao aluno surdo, bem como pelas políticas públicas voltadas para a organização da escolarização dos surdos. Cabe ressaltar não basta intensificar as políticas públicas voltadas para a inclusão dos surdos no ensino superior sem investir em estratégias de permanência. Acredita-se, portanto, que este trabalho possibilitará subsídios para a ampliação das discussões em relação à educação dos surdos e, sobretudo, às condições de acesso e de permanência ofertadas pelas instituições de Ensino Superior.

Abstract:
The work aims to present an overview of the education of students with disabilities in superior education, with emphasis on the deaf student. In this way, it goes through linguistic, educational and cultural specificities related to deaf students, as well as public policies aimed at organizing the schooling of deaf people. It is worth mentioning that it is not enough to intensify public policies aimed at including deaf people in superior education without investing in permanence strategies. It is believed, therefore, that this work will allow subsidies to expand the discussions in relation to the education of the deaf and, above all, to the conditions of access and permanence offered by Superior Education institutions.
