Abstract: Mathematics applied playfully through games as a teaching-learning strategy in the classroom can be fun and a vital tool for students in the discovery phase. Besides developing various skills, it also helps develop creativity. Using play in the classroom is a pedagogical resource that has yielded positive results, as it creates situations that allow students to develop problem-solving methods, stimulating their creativity and participation. Activities involving playful games make learning more enjoyable; when combined with social and cultural factors, they contribute to good physical and mental health, facilitating the process of socialization, communication, and knowledge construction. Through play, students engage in the activity and feel the need to share their experiences with others. This type of activity provides students with a pleasant, motivating, planned, and enriched environment, fostering moments of interaction between students and teachers, experience sharing, and discussion.
