A IMPORTÂNCIA DO FARMACÊUTICO HOSPITALAR NA EXECUÇÃO DA FARMACOVIGILÂNCIA
Farmacovigilância é denominada
como a ciência e as atividades que se
relacionam com o processo de detecção,
avaliação, compreensão e prevenção de
reações adversas a medicamentos e outros
problemas relacionados com os medicamentos
com o intuito de aumentar a segurança do
uso de fármacos e melhorar a qualidade do
tratamento. Contudo, em contrapartida, o
problema com a subnotificação é crescente
e impede que seja feito um trabalho de
cuidado e prevenção adequado, sendo o
profissional farmacêutico mais capacitado e
melhor para exercer tal função. A importância
do farmacêutico hospitalar na execução da
farmacovigilância. Realizou-se uma pesquisa
bibliográfica através de análise detalhada de
materiais publicados na literatura anteriormente
procurando enfatizar a importância da atenção
farmacêutica na melhoria da qualidade de vida
dos pacientes idosos. Concluiu-se existe ainda
hoje um grande número de subnotificações
se tornando um problema que o profissional
farmacêutico tem que driblar, a fim de fazer
um monitoramento adequado e eficaz,
aumentando assim a qualidade do tratamento
medicamentoso.

Abstract:
Pharmacovigilance is referred to
as the science and activities that relate to the
process of detecting, evaluating, understanding
and preventing adverse drug reactions and
other drug-related problems in order to increase
drug safety and improve quality of treatment.
However, on the other hand, the problem
with underreporting is growing and prevents
proper care and prevention work being done,
and the pharmaceutical professional is better
able to perform this function. The importance
of the hospital pharmacist in the execution of
pharmacovigilance. A bibliographical research
was carried out through a detailed analysis of
materials published in the literature previously seeking to emphasize the importance of
pharmaceutical care in improving the quality of life of elderly patients. It was concluded
that there are still a large number of under-notifications becoming a problem that the
pharmaceutical professional has to dribble in order to make an adequate and effective
monitoring, thus increasing the quality of drug treatment.
