A geografia é uma disciplina que compõe o currículo escolar dos alunos do ensino fundamental e médio, tendo como objetivo estudar a relação mútua entre a natureza e o homem. É importante que os alunos entendam a dinâmica ser humano-natureza e que se percebam sujeitos ativos na produção do espaço geográfico. O professor é o mediador na construção desde conhecimento, por isso trabalhamos o conteúdo da América Platina, Guianas e Suriname relacionando-o com a realidade brasileira de forma objetiva com os alunos do 8º ano de uma escola municipal localizada no município de Morro da Fumaça.

  • Abstract: Geography is a subject that is part of the school curriculum for elementary and high school students, aiming to study the mutual relationship between nature and humanity. It is important for students to understand the human-nature dynamic and to see themselves as active subjects in the production of geographic space. The teacher is the mediator in the construction of this knowledge, which is why we work with content from the Platinum Americas, the Guianas, and Suriname, relating it to the Brazilian reality in an objective manner with 8th-grade students at a municipal school in the municipality of Morro da Fumaça.
