A IMPORTÂNCIA DO AGENTE COMUNITÁRIO DE SAÚDE (ACS): UM ELO ENTRE COMUNIDADE, SERVIÇOS DE SAÚDE E ENSINO
A atenção básica é definida pela
Política Nacional de Atenção Básica como
um conjunto de ações de saúde individuais
e coletivas, desenvolvidos por uma equipe
multiprofissional, sendo o Agente Comunitário
de Saúde (ACS) um dos componentes
dessa equipe, considerado um mediador
entre os serviços. Dessa forma, o presente
estudo objetiva descrever a importância
do ACS, enquanto componente da equipe
multiprofissional de saúde, na integração
da comunidade aos serviços da atenção
básica. Trata-se de um estudo descritivo do
tipo relato de experiência sobre a vivência de
uma acadêmica de enfermagem nas práticas
de Políticas Públicas em uma Unidade de
Saúde da Família em Belém do Pará, durante
o acompanhamento das visitas domiciliares
de uma ACS. Observou-se a realização do
cadastro de uma família; orientações sobre a
consulta periódica de um paciente HIPERDIA e informações sobre a necessidade de ir à unidade. Através do cadastro da família
foi descrita a situação de saúde de cada membro, traçando um perfil que permitiu
planejar a assistência adequada. A participação enquanto acadêmica possibilitou a
aprendizagem e visualização da fundamental importância do ACS como membro da
equipe multiprofissional da atenção básica, pois através dele há uma maior aproximação
da comunidade ao serviço de saúde, possibilitando uma integração da comunidade e
serviço.

Abstract:
Primary care is defined by National Policy of Primary Care as a set of
individual and collective health actions, developed by a multiprofessional team, being
the Community Health Agent one of the components of this team, considered a mediator
between the services. Thus, the present study aims to describe the importance of the
Community Health Agent, as a component of the multiprofessional health team, in
integrating the community with primary care services. This is a descriptive study of
the type of experience report about the experience of a nursing student in the practice
of Public Policies in a Family Health Unit in Belém do Pará, during the monitoring of
home visits by a Community Health Agent. The registration of a family was observed;
guidance on periodic consultation of a HIPERDIA patient and information on the need
to go to the unit. Through the family register was described the health situation of each
member, outlining a profile that allowed to plan the appropriate care. Participation as an
academic enabled the learning and visualization of the fundamental importance of the
community health agent as a member of the multiprofessional team of primary care,
because through it there is a greater approach of the community to the health service,
with a community and service integration.
